A Study in Mood
San Ramon, CA
This one began before the walls were even finished. On a brand-new build in San Ramon, Raashi Design came in early — not after construction, but during it — selecting the hard finishes and surfaces while the house was still taking shape. The materials that set a room's tone were chosen first, so the architecture and the interior would speak as one from the very beginning.
From there, every room was built on a clear concept and a deliberate mood — subtly moody, but never dark. The backdrop stays calm and neutral; the depth comes from what's layered onto it: warm color used with intention, the glow of gold and brass, texture and a little shimmer. Clean and contemporary in its lines, warm and atmospheric in feeling, with lighting designed to make the evenings as lovely as the mornings.
We carried it all the way through: furnishings, original art, layered lighting, and custom built-ins — like the home office, fitted floor to ceiling and styled as carefully as it functions. Textiles with weight and sheen, color used with intention, each space its own character within one cohesive, confident whole.
The result is an interior authored from the ground up — contemporary and quietly glamorous, its mood warm rather than dark, and finished to the last detail.
